BDA is producing deep dive documents on muni and taxable fixed income policy that directly impacts sell-side bond dealers. Two documents in 2020 - "Infrastructure and Municipal Bonds” and “GSE Reform” have detail on the policy and a BDA outlook for the current and expected congress.
"Bonding Time" podcast and BDA blog
The BDA has created "Bonding Time" which is a monthly podcast and blog featuring leaders in the US bond markets and most featuring a DC angle. A new way to transmit information to BDA members, "Bonding Time” podcasts range from 10 to 25-minute discussions covering business conditions, technology, regulation, legislation, and politics.
Fixed Income Insights
A BDA produced quarterly e-magazine featuring intel on the US bond markets along with interviews with leadership from dealers, the buy-side, and key policymakers in Washington, DC.
Uniting Advocacy for Municipal Bonds
BDA is launching a repurposed Municipal Bonds for America council, uniting the private sector side of the muni business. The MBFA will unite the sell-side, buy-side, municipal advisors, insurers, and counsel to work hand-in-hand with issuers and the Public Finance Network to advance municipals in the 117th Congress. Engage Capitol Hill

BDA is launching a complete Diversity & Inclusion initiative focused on what firms need to know; how to start and promote a D&I initiative; industry trends; the focus from Capitol Hill; the industry and societal benefits.
